Roots

~Past~ Growing up in a small community meant a lot of things. You know everyone, your related to half of them, and you’re considered “Hicks”. But it also meant that my parents raised us kids how they were raised, in the woods. My parents were big hunters when they were growing up. Every year getting their stands up and gear together to freeze their butts off in a tree. Many times my parents would take me out to go “hunting”. This meant we were sitting in a lawn chair or on the ground and I was constantly moving because I was little and couldn’t sit still. I would get so excited when someone shot a deer. I would hold on to the antlers and poke their tongue thinking it was the coolest thing ever. I was raised in the woods, covered in orange, hoping for a deer. ~Present~ Recently my parents bought 120 acres of land. But it came 40 acres at a time. That land has brought us so close as a family. Our FFF (Forced Family Fun) was working at the land. We set up stands, made trails...

Life Update

I'm so excited to announce that this weekend is opening for gun season! I'm so excited to get out and take my little sister. I got my deer earlier this year so I really hope she can get hers! You got it Bug!! Here is an update on my life~ Injuries? As many of you know, in June I had fallen and hurt my back and elbow pretty bad. After X-Rays on my back we found out that I have pulling on my spine which is making it curve. So I need to stretch a lot to release the tension on my spine. As for my elbow I was diagnosed with Bursitis. We had X-Rays done too but they came back normal. It has been 4 ½ months and my elbow is still messed up. There is still swelling and pain. The assumption now is that I have pulled or tore a tendon. It just sucks because I constantly use my arms at both jobs and so I’m not giving my elbow time to heal. Which means the healing process is going to be longer.   Well I have 4 ½ weeks of class then final week! So excited for Christmas break! But s...
